People don't like to tell their superiors bad news. Most followers don't want to be the bearer of bad news to their leaders. Heck, they didn't even tell the emperor that he had no clothes on!

As a pastor/leader, you need to hear the truth, and it could be hard for you to get it. So you have to have people in your life who will review your junk, and tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly.
