Today I talk about two very important, and very different things.
1. Doctrine, what we believe the Bible teaches and God desires. 2. How do we minister to lost people in our community? Denominations are splitting over serious cultural and moral issues, and often lost and hurting people, even those seeking God, are getting caught in the crossfire of Christians who are drawing sharp lines of doctrinal distinction between them, and then separating. Doctrine is very important, and truth is not relative but objectively comes from God's Word, but how do we apply the truth of God to the lives of real people who are far from Jesus. We live in a negative world, and a negative culture. Selfishness, greed, lust, and power all work to deliver a very negative energy culture.
Even many Christians have become fatalists, doomsdayers, and downers. We have to fight to maintain a positive attitude and outlook - but it's worth the fight! Here are 8 ways you can move the ball down the field for happiness, joy, and positivity! Enjoy! Let me help you by providing you with a smile... "A discouraged horse walked into a bar and sat down dejectedly on a stool. The bartender walked over and said, 'Hey pal, why the long face?'" :-) 
We are all interim pastors and leaders. At some point, we will walk away from our ministry or organization. Today I talk about setting a goal for the end of 2023 that we wouldn't be needed anymore.
Unneeded because we have equipped our team and our people to do ministry and lead without us. Would that not be a great reality? Then we can get started on a new venture, a new ministry, a new project within the church! It doesn't mean we have to leave, but we have to equip our people to lead and do the work! Right now I can think of some responsibilities that I need to equip others to do... can't you?? 
Sometimes we want to get a different result - so we just double down on what we have already been doing.
